The Seraphina wand, inspired by the wand of Seraphina Picquery, is turned from mahogany wood and measures 15 inches in overall length with a 10 7/8 inch tapered shaft, 4 1/8 inch handle, with an approximate 7/8 inch diameter at the widest point, finished with black, purple, red, and silver pigments in a turners finish coat and silver metallic paint, and the wand includes a velvet cloth storage bag. The handle on Seraphina's wand has a fuchsia color and I replicated this with a mix of pigments to give the finished wand a luminous fuchsia color.
