Description: Edmonston & Douglas was a publishing business established in 1837 by David Douglas (1823-1916) and Alexander Edmonston (d.1877) in Edinburgh. I believe this was from the 1860 Instructive Picture Book.It has previously been mounted in a frame and has some residue on the reverse. In exact condition shown.
