This publication served as the birth record of De Wayne Loomis France, who was born in Paris on February 18, 1891 to Jesse Leach France and Eurilda Loomis France. He weighed 10 ½ pounds at birth. The family sailed back to America later that year. The parents were conscientious in filling in details the first several years, but the second half of the book is blank. The hinges are a bit weak but otherwise book is in very good condition, and, except for the filling in of records, very clean and bright. What makes this book especially memorable throughout are the wonderful illustrations by Frances Brundage. Just a nice baby record!
