Description: From the 1893 Columbian Exposition, this is a pair of small square papers that say "Columbian Souvenir" and have an image of Christopher Columbus with his name. They measure 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" each. I do not know what these would have been used for but I would guess that they wrapped around something like a cigar, or something that would have had a label applied like a candy bar. The Expo commemorated the 400th anniversary of Columbus's voyage so these little papers could have been used on anything. Surprisingly, after 130 years, these little papers are in near mint condition.
