Description: Offered for your consideration... 1916 Sporting News/Felix Mendelsohn CHICAGO WHITE SOX Complete Team Set REPRINT ~ Near Mint condition Perfect for the Team Collector The original cards from this set are now more than 100 years of age. Team sets - to say nothing of the full 200 cards - are not within the budgets of any but the well-heeled hobbyists among us. An excellent feature length article on this set and its companion (M101-4), produced by printer Felix Mendelsohn, appears in the Summer 2008 issue of Old Cardboard magazine. The cards are reproduced in the original (1-5/8" by 3") size and feature quality black and white action photographs. The backs are blank. M101-5 is the number first used by editors of The American Card Catalog to categorize this set. Offered here is a COMPLETE TEAM SET. It is clearly marked REPRINT in the lower right, and is affordable by nearly all! If this team is your favorite - or contains a favored player or two - consider picking it up while it's available. ANY number of these M101-5 team sets will ship for the single-set shipping cost IF the buyer will request and wait for a combined invoice before paying. Questions? Email us. Our objective is to sell cards and other things of interest to baseball hobbyists - not make money by overcharging on shipping. U.S. residents: We combine multiple items purchased so you pay only the shipping on the heaviest item - all other items ship free of charge. (An exception would be if an item must be sent via media/book rate.) All Other Countries: Email us first. To receive your combined shipping, please wait for us to send you a combined invoice. The eBay checkout system usually displays an incorrect shipping charge. (It is normally too high.) Please do not pay for each item separately; if you pay separately, there is no shipping discount. We pack your order carefully - sandwiching cards between cardboard and utilizing boxes, bubble wrap, etc., as necessary - to ensure your items arrive in the condition you expect. Items are shipped the next business day after we receive your payment. We ship 5 - usually 6 - days each week. Payment should be made within 7 days after notification of purchase.
