Description: You are looking at a RARE 1923 University of Northern Iowa (formerly know as Iowa State Teachers) vs Simpson College Football Program. This was the first year that the Iowa conference was formed, formerly known as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Simpson and Iowa State Teachers were both in the conference. Simpson went on to win the conference championship with a 7-0 conference record, and the only team they lost to out of conference was Iowa State (Ames) who had the great Jack Trice on the squad. This is an amazing piece of history. I am absolutely THRILLED to be offering such a high end collectible. This program is in excellent shape considering this is 99 years old. It came out of a scrapbook that also has autographs of Simpson Football players and a 1924 Simpson vs Luther football program. Please see pictures. Good Luck finding it in any condition.
