Description: This offering is for a photo of Dean Moon's Supercharged Chevy Powered A/Dragster named "MOONEYES" at the 1st NHRA US NATIONALS that was held held at Indianapolis Raceway Park-INDY in 1961. Dean Moon is pictured with his back to the camera,with his Cowboy Hat and "Mooneyes " Logo Tee Shirt . INDY was to become the permanent site for the NHRA US NATIONALS . This Dragster's chassis was built by Dode Martin at DRAGMASTERS and Gary Cagle drove the car . The "MOONEYES" logo was the creation of an employee of Walt Disney Studios . Dean Moon passed away in 1987 at 60 years old. This car now resides in the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing,in Ocala,Florida . The photo is on 8" x 10" Premium Photo Paper.
