If this is the price range, style and quality of vintage guitar your looking for, you wont find one better than this and It plays/sounds just as good as it looks! This Incredibly Clean 1961 Kay Custom Kraft 4155 Midnight Special was played very little and shows very few signs of age and play. There's really not any actual play wear or flaws to mention other than very light pick scratching on the guard and a few small marks here or there that wouldn't be very easy to find. Keep in mind that its 63 years old, so it wont be perfect compared to a new guitar, but it not far off. There is NO fret wear or buckle rash to mention, the original finish is super clean and I would definitely rate this guitar a 9 out of 10 which is collectors grade material in my eyes, especially with the original case that is a perfect match condition wise. There is very little discoloration of the hardware (see pics). There are NO changes, cracks, breaks or repairs to note. I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge the condition for yourself (see pics). All electronics are original with 1961 pot codes and operate perfectly. If your looking for a collector quality USA made vintage guitar to play or for your collection, this would make a great addition!This 4155 Midnight Special sounds and plays awesome! No playability issues what so ever. Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight, the truss rod operates as it should and has low action. All electronics are original and perfect!The Original Case pictured has no issues, is super clean and is a perfect fit. It will show a little age as you would expect, but nothing of concern. All latches, hinges & handle operate as they should.Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above.Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
