Description: This auction is for a flyer given out for a slate of candidates for State Representative 10th District in Illinois in 1968. It was give out by CIPA - Citizens for Independent Political Action. Their three candidates were: Tony Murray, Betsy Vazquez, and Marty Noone. The cover features a photo of Mayor Daley with the headline "Did you like Mayor Daley's performance at the convention? Well we didn't". Inside the flyer it talks about the problems at the Democratic Convention, the suppression of the April, 1968 peace march, etc. It lists their platform that included immediately ending the intervention in Vietnam. The flyer when unfolded measures 8-1/2" x 11". The flyer is in good condition - it is yellowed with age - there is some toning near the edges - there are a couple light spots inside - there are a couple small creases.
