The topos of the trees were omitted from the drawing so as not to obscure the planned sidewalk pattern. The renovation plan, which Parkway and Park Commission spokesmen say will restore the square's 1800s atmosphere, was presented by the commission at a public hearing Wednesday at the main branch of the Orleans Parish Library, 219 Loyola Avenue. Renovation of the park should be completed in approximately 10 months, commission spokesmen said. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo Is dated 1974.
