1st Ed. 3rd Printing 1936 Dale Carnegie How to Win Friends and Influence People

Description: This listing is for the first edition third printing of “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told its history. The dates on the title page and the copyright page are both 1936. It is a stated “third printing”. The publisher is Simon and Shuster. Including the spine, the covers measure close to 8 ⅛ by 5 ⅛ inches. The book is about 1 ¼ inches thick. It weighs close to 1 pound 2.2 ounces. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. It is generally in good condition. The binding is reasonably tight as one might expect of a book that had not been looked at excessively.. There are no loose or missing pages. The closed page edges have some uneven discoloration that does not affect the open pages. The open pages look very slightly toned towards the edges. The binding is a little skewed so that the spine looks a little tilted. When looking at all the pages, I found one light fold crease across one corner that is about 2 inches long. There is some discolored areas on the front and back covers that you can see in the photos. There is some light fading of the spine.. I looked at each page and found 7 small check marks in the margins done with pencil. Some are darker than others. One is very tiny. They are generally around the size of the two that I have provided photos of. Otherwise, this book is fine and as shown. I guarantee this book to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them. I allow three business days for shipping, but I usually ship the same or next day if possible.
