21" Bridal Party 1940 Human Hair Composition Wendy Madame Alexander Bride 🤍

Description: This listing is for everything shown in the photos except the stand. So you will recieve the doll & everything she's wearing, just no stand. This is a very nice Madame Alexander doll from the "1940 Bridal Party Series". This is a "Wendy Bride". She stands about 21" tall, is all composition and has a human hair wig!! Normally these had a mohair wig, so this is a rare variation. Her hair is thick and full of luxurious bouncy dark brown curls, it's also very soft. Her face is gorgeous, clear sleep eyes that open and close as they should, original eyebrow, lower lash and lip paint, while she has had eyeshadow and blush re applied. Unfortunately she does have a craze line on her eyelid but other than that her facial crazing is minimal/light. She also has a crack on each side of her head, however her cascading curls are able to hide this easily for display. Her body has minimal crazing that I saw, hands are nice with some light crazing and a slight paint chip on her finger, she does have a pink scuff mark on her neck but the necklace easily hides this! All fingers are in tact and body is sturdy and strung nice and tightly. Her vail and flowers are not original but replacement pieces so she can be a full fledged bride again. Gown appears to be an original Madame Alexander gown, it does not have a tag so I cannot say for sure. However it looks nice and fitting on her, it does not have any snap fasteners and the hemline inside the gown has the telltale Alexander zigzag pattern so take this information as you will. Gown is in good shape, it puffs out very very large and full if you find the right crinoline! It has some very small and light browning or yellowing here and there but they are not really noticeable when shes displayed. Doll has no odors! Necklace is not original and it has to be pinned in the back in order to stay on the doll. Hang tag is not original, its a reproduction item and it's blank on the backside.
