Description: 3 Sets Weil Ware California Pottery Coffee Tea Cups Saucers Celadon Blossom MCM Saucers measure 5 5/8 inches acrossCups measure 4 1/2 inches across the handle by 2 1/2 inches tall Condition: Pre-owned. Three vintage Weil Ware of California Pottery Celadon "Blossom" coffee cup and saucer sets. The shape is a rounded square. Weil was in business from 1930s-1960s. All parts of the Blossom line had hand painted design details. These are in decent shape. One cup has a glaze flake on the outside of the rim. One saucer has two fleabite chips on the rim. One saucer has two tiny chips on the rim. All of this Weil Ware dinnerware has some light glaze crazing (lines running through the glaze). It's common with some vintage dinnerware. Some of these show moderate crazing. Two of the saucers have stamps from the very first manufacture of this line somewhere in the 1940s. They have the maker's mark and that the patent has been applied for stamped on the backs That makes these very early pieces!
