Description: Thank you for viewing this eBay listing. A miner friend asked me to sell several pieces of Oregon Sunstone rough for him. Although these are a lower quality sunstone, a few may be okay for faceting, some are good for cabbing, and many are intended as specimens. Please view the photos.As I’m using the same text for several different pieces of the Oregon Sunstone rough I’m offering for sale on eBay, please view the photos in this listing to see what item or items you will receive if you purchase this auctionThe miner said Oregon Sunstone rough normally wholesales between $1.00 and $10.00 per ct depending on the size of the size, color, and the clarity of the stone. The miner also said many of pieces that I am listing can be made into cabochons and most have something he called “schiller.” He said schiller is something gem cutters want to see in Oregon Sunstone.Although I was told Oregon Sunstone would look much better if I photographed it wet, so I photographed it dry as well as wet to better show its true appearance.Almost all of the Oregon Sunstone I am selling for the miner is over 10 cts and several pieces of the Oregon Sunstone I’m selling are partially covered with the lava rock in which they were formed, the miner said there could be some real treasures beneath the lava rock.The photos in this listing have not been altered. I used only natural sunlight for the photos and I took several magnified photographs of this Oregon Sunstone hoping they will show every possible detail.Note: In the event of any typos in this listing, the item or items in the photos are the ones you will receive if you purchase this auction. Also, the lava rubs off easily, so the weight may be slightly different when the Oregon Sunstone arrives.I will happily combine shipping.
