AESP C-1A-6 6 Foot Printer Cable (As-Is/Untested)

Description: Vintage AESP C-1A-6 Printer Cable (As-Is/Untested) Description Up for sale is a vintage printer cable which is most likely from around the eighties. This printer cable pertained to an old printer we once owned that was either a Star Micronix, a Panasonic, or an Epson (or perhaps all three since this printer connection was pretty much the industry standard at the time). The connections on this printer cable are a 36 pin (which are two rows of 18 at the top and bottom on a blue female pin socket) and a DB-25 (25 pin with a white background) male socket with two hand threaded screws. The cable itself is approximately six or so feet long and each connection has AESP imprinted on one side while the other reads C-1A-6. I can't say for sure whether this refers to the printer model or simply just the manufacture number for the cable itself; which basically means that I cannot say for sure that this was the original pack-in cable that came with anyone of the printers I used to own or if it was simply just purchased as a third party cable that was most likely acquired at a Radio Shack back in the day. This cable measures approximately six feet long (measured from one socket connection to the other) though it may be just a few inches short of that specific length; on account of human error and what have you. The socket ends were pretty spotty when I came across them, so I took an abrasive polishing pad on a handheld rotary tool to them and polished them up as best as I could. There may still be some dark spots on the metal sockets' surfaces. This cable has developed some immediately visible yellowing on it (along with some spotted dots as well) from overall age and storage and there is also some yellowish spotting on the DB-25 male connection end on the metal socket. Since I no longer have an old dot matrix printer at my immediate disposal, I don't really have a means by which to test it out. Because of this, I'm listing this cable in as-is/untested condition and pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts.
