The medallion is bronze, approximately 2.5" across. One side has an image of the Enterprise with the legends "USS Enterprise World's Largest Ship, First Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier." The other side shows the Navy shield and eagle logo with the legend "Commemorating the launching of the USS Enterprise, September 24, 1960, "Built by Newport News Shipping and Drydock Company." Rim is hallmarked "Medallic Art Co., NY Bronze". I believe this is an official or semi-official medal. Shows some light tarnish, see the illustrations. Winning bidder pays $6.25 for first class mail shipping. I ship exclusively by U.S. mail. Postage outside of U.S. is extra. Multiple items can usually be shipped together to reduce postage costs.
