Description: Snappy the Miracle Dog & His Doghouse Toy by Louis Marx and Co 1930s Nice condition with some scuffs and scratches from use The suction cup on the inside of the doghouse that holds the tin plate does is missing and does not work. If you push the dog against the tin plate with your hand it will bounce out of the house Please review all pictures to see the exact item being sold. The bottom of the house is marked: Made By Louis Marx & Co. New York, USA with the MarX Toys sign. US Patent No. 1514216 The dog measures about 4" long. House measures about 3 1/2" x 4" x 3 1/2" to the top of the roof peak Snappy the Miracle Dog and His Doghouse is a 2 part metal toy. Snappy looks like a bull dog and is 2 pieces put together. His face and collar are visible. There is some wear but he is in good condition with no rust noted. Snappy's doghouse is also a metal litho. The sides of the dog house look like wooden slats. One side has 2 other dogs and the other side has a cat & tree. The backside has a pail and a small tree. Two caution signs are posted on the front of the house and his name is posted above the door. The roof has shingles. This house is in very good condition. There is little surface rust on the inside of the house but none visible on the outside.
