Ca.1890-1910 This beautiful antique vase is a wonderful example of Art Nouveau glass; it was made in Bohemia by the glass house Josephinenhütte, c. 1890-1910. The cobalt blue glass is stunning and is hand painted Gilt gold with pastel pink and green enamel linear style flowers very new to that era. It is numbered on the base with an inventory sticker as this piece came out of a important collection in Wellesley , Massachusetts. The vase measures 11.0 inches tall. It is in excellent condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. Very slight surface ware but nothing that very noticeable. As is common in hand blown glass of this age, there are some small bubbles and imperfections within the glass. This vase would make a beautiful addition to an antique Art glass collection or make a beautiful accent to a special corner.
