Description: This beautiful homemade clown suit, I believe it’s from the 1940- 30s. It’s made with a lightweight cotton fabric with cats, bats, owl hand sewn on. The front and back of the suit are color reversed. The buttons are cardboard, covered with fabric. Under these buttons there are snap closures. There is a separate neck ruffle piece with a hook closure. The elastic on the cuffs and ankle gathers have lots of stretch and work great. The elastic is pinned with safety pins inside- so it can be adjusted. See pic. The back of one leg ruffle has a few holes- see last pic. The suit otherwise has a few small spots and some loose threads otherwise good condition, Considering its age … Measurements: size medium?
