Description: Stamped "England". I don't see a maker name on either piece, but I believe these were made by J. Clews and Sons of Birmingham in thelate 1800s to early 1900s. From the famous Diamond Candlestick series. This sale is for "The Diamond Prince" Pair pictured. I'm selling these as found. I didn't polish them. See photos for condition. These are antiques, and they show age and wear, tarnishing, some pitting, some wax still in the top. Note that one has a round tab underneath at the bottom of the rod, and one is missing that round piece, which I'm guessing is part of a push-up, but I'm not sure. (See closeup up photo showing bottoms.) Neither pushes up for me, but I think that's because they probably need cleaned and maybe oiled. They are 12 inches tall. See the stamped info on the close-up photos, which includes a serial number, which I think is RP 385856, but I'm not positive because some of the stamped info isn't readable. (This sale is for the two candlesticks pictured. Nothing else in the photos is included.)
