Description: Antique F W Lincoln Jr & Co Brass Sextant and Wood Case. The sextant is in decent antique condition. The brass has spots of corrosion throughout as shown. The telescopes are in good condition, with lenses in good condition. The longest telescope is red on the interior and difficult to look through without very bright light. One of the shorter ones is a normal lens that is easy to look through. The other shorter telescope has no glass in the lens spots. The shades, filters, and mirrors are in good condition with some spotting from age. The scale magnifier has broken off and the lens is cracked as shown. The parts all move, with some of filters requiring some extra force due to corrosion in the connecting hinge. The case is in decent shape, with scratches and damage consistent with age. There is a large crack in the bottom and the bottom panel is not fully attached as the nails have backed out of their holes. Please refer to photos for complete condition.
