Description: This is an exquisite antique French carriage clock made of brass by H Muhr's Sons in the 1870s. A watch and clock maker from Philadelphia, this company was known for making high quality movements. This particular one was made in France, perhaps on one of their designs. Measuring 3.25 x4.375x2.5 (in ), this piece features a mechanical movement and analog display type with a beautiful patina. The clock is being sold for parts or not working, but its aesthetic value cannot be overstated. It appears to be complete and might work but it's been sitting on a shelf in an attic for so many years. It almost definitely needs to be cleaned and possibly there might be small repairs needed. There are a few small circular defects or cracks on the left hand side glass. Definitely worth the money to get it cleaned and running again. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of history. Will be carefully packaged and shipped, tracked and insured immediately following payment. Please reach out to me if you have any questions at all- happy to help!
