Antique French Laurel Roses Lozenge Floral Silk Cotton Brocade Jacquard Fabric

Description: I had a wonderful opportunity to acquire a gorgeous array of antique French silk brocades & lampas fabric. All are very old samples from a former French upholsterer. Early 1900's.All extremely beautiful & such scarce rare survivors. I'll be listing each individually in separate listings.Perfect for pillow making, framing, small bespoke upholstery etc..and adding to a collection. The condition on each is strong and unused. There may be a bit of patina, some soft random age speckles, possibly a hint of slight hue variation or tiny fiber break in some cases from time elements and handling so will have an old world charm. This one is a beautiful laurel leaf with roses lozenge design. A silk, cotton & viscose. The viscose gives it more body. Warmer tones of marigold, a tealish green & rose on tan beige ground Appears in very good order albeit a hint of patina.Gorgeous as a pillow or chair back, small upholstery, etc.. one of the larger ones which Measures~ 24" x 29" ~ Many thanks!
