Description: Antique handmade striped wood marquetry box. Beautiful patina. Measures 9 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 4 1/2". Probably circa the first decades of the 20th century, but could be earlier. Condition: Overall stable and in good condition commensurate with age and use. There's an age-related gap between the marquetry strips in the top of the box. One of the back hinges is pulling from the bottom of the box, though the hinge and its original nails are still present, so it can just be glued down to secure it. It has pulled away from the exterior wood, but that can also just be glued down. I've taken pix of both of the above, but am mentioning it because it might not be clear.
