Bordered in transfer printed alphabet letters, centers bear an unusual religious theme of THE FINDING OF MOSES with Jochebed pull Moses floating in an ark of Bullrushes from the weeds on the side of the river. Marked MANUFACTURED FOR H.C. EDMISTON ENGLAND, it measures 4-5/8" wide and about 3/4" deep with a high edge - I believe this was a saucer as there is a molded ring in the plate center. Condition is lovely with no repairs or damage other than the faintest line on the back that cannot be caught or see on the front.
