Description: A heavy and ornate brass lamp font older with gilt. The piece is 6.5" in diameter with a 5" opening. 6" high. 2 pounds 15 ounces. This is silvered brass with some gilt as show in the photos. Design is ornate, probably from the Victorian era. Includes bottom mounting piece with a 1/8 IPS thread. The font holder includes a piece of 1/8 IPS lamp pipe, which you'd need if you want to use the piece in an electric light. Finish is still pretty good. Some silver and gilt loss, but still has a nice look to it. See photos for a better description. A piece like this is hard to find, and could be used in any number of ways.
