Description: Antique Maiden Statuette by Rigaud - Art Nouveau. Another beautiful little figure . Her dimensions are ; 6 1/16" high , 3 1/2" wide and 2 7/8" deep . This wonderful little piece is the same image and form as the dark faux bronze 'Boule de Neige' in this same listing group , although this one bears no name at the bottom . Additionally this piece is finished in a lighter bronze tone and the floral elements are gilded . Actresses and personalities during the turn of the century used these as promo and merchandising pieces . The original was sculpted by the prolific and talented Pablo Rigual (1863 - 1917) , his name is on the back of the figure ( see photo) . These small sculptures were like the action figures of the fin de siecle . lol
