FeaturesGenerally speaking, pottery is made by molding clay and firing it like ceramics, but cloisonné ware uses a metal base of copper or silver and a glassy glaze is applied to the surface to create images of flowers, birds, the wind, the moon, landscapes, etc. It is characterized by the design.
