Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE..... Recent attic find... Pair of antique polished tin oil lamps, offered as found, in used condition, with no glass. These are small bedroom lamps that have survived in good condition and are being offered exactly as found. The wick turners work and both burners will unscrew from the body. The lamps are dulled from age with lots of staining on the metal surfaces. They stand approximately 6 1/2 inches (16cm) tall with the bases measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5cm) in diameter. I have inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as reference for size. This listing is for the pair. Madeira Island was years behind mainland Europe when it came to electrifying rural residences... oil lamps are found in abundance as a result. MUCH OBLIGED
