Description: This is a machete/sword that was acquired in the early sixty’s in the Philippines. Do not know the actual style name. The sword is metal and appears to have some wood on the handle. It is approximately 28 inches long in total. The blade is approximately 21 inches long and 2 inches at its widest point. The wooden / metal banded scabbard is approximately 22 inches long. The scabbard has some slight damage as shown in pictures. The scabbard has writing on one side and what appears as a name (embossing tape) on the other (see photos). This item may have belonged to an Igorot tribe member as it was located along with other Igorot items. I ship using USPS with tracking.
