Description: This antique Spanish Christ Child Creche Santo features glass eyes and is made of polychromed wood. Probably from the late 19th century. Handcrafted in Spain, this statue holds cultural and religious significance as a representation of faith and spirituality. The use of glass eyes and eyelashes adds a lifelike quality to the piece, making it a unique and valuable item for collectors of religious artifacts. Condition: minor wood splitting, paint chips and surface wear as expected due to its age. Repair on the fingers and toes. Will require some TLC but can be left as is. The rays a newer and I added the lace loin cloth to cover his private parts. Overall it stands approx 25” tall. The Christ figure alone stand 20” tall from head to foot. Sold as is, final sale.
