Description: This antique leather-bound book has two titles. The first is "A Treatise On Self Knowledge" by John Mason (1770 - 1829) an American preacher, theologian, and, Provost of Columbia College in the 1810's as well as President of Dickinson College in Pennsylvania in the 1820's. This edition was published by the American Tract Society in New York City. A 2nd work by the same author is also within this same volume, titled, Counsels to Young Men. Pocketbook sized book (6.5" x 4" x 1.5" thick). Written in English, it has only some minimal signs of wear and tear (see pictures, remarkable for a book that is around two hundred years old. It is a must-have for those interested in antique books and collectibles. The binding is made of high-quality leather, and is a great treasure for any book collector.
