Description: Late 1800s Victorian captain's desk, finished with walnut burr veneer and marquetry. Original porcelain wheels in tact. It has four drawers and a flip-up compartment on the top (a custom balsa wood organizer was added at some point but slides in and out easily), and an embossed leather top. Repaired at one point long ago, see pictures. A very special, compact desk that could be displayed anywhere since it is finished on all sides, even in the center of a room.
