Description: Beautiful large Antique Limoges Rectangular Platter/tray made in France by the Vignaud Freres company ca. the 1890's. This tray is decorated with large pink and yellow roses and greenery edged in purple. It has a wide border of pink and gold accents all around it. There is wear to the gold, as would be expected in a piece this old (See photos 6 & 7above). Also, there are some black 'dots,' which happened frequently when old porcelain was glazed (See photos 8, 9, & 10). Neither the gold wear nor the 'dots' detracts from the visual impact upon seeing this tray. No chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs. The tray is 16" long and 10" wide and 2" deep. I pack carefully, using lots of bubble wrap and am happy to combine items for shipping.
