Description: LOVELY VINTAGE CUP AND SAUCER. I THINK MY GRANDMOTHER SAID IT WAS PURCHASED AT A FAIR/EXPOSITION IN THE 1920-30s (TEXAS CENTENNIAL?), BUT NOT SURE. I BELIEVE IT IS HANDMADE, HAND PAINTED AND POSSIBLY GERMAN MADE. THERE ARE GOLD ENCRUSTED RAISED RELIEF FLOWERS AND LEAVES AND BEAUTIFUL DESIGN. IT LOOKS LIKE IT IS LUSTERWARE ON THE BACK. THE SAUCER HAS A SEMI-SCALLOPED FEEL. THE BOTTOM 'FOOTED' AREA IS SCALLOPED. IT IS STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM. GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION!
