Description: For sale is a really nice 1976 Winchester pressing of the classic Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles. Side 1 is easily EX and borderline NM, plays like new. Side 2 is clean and shiny with a couple of very light visible marks, nothing deep. The first few seconds of track 1 has a little light background noise, nearly perfect after that. The label on side 2 is slightly imperfect, see photo near the hole, looks like 4 small white dots going across, very small. The jacket is on the stronger side of EX, the "cutouts" insert is like new. This is the orange label pressing with "mastered by capitol" stamped on both sides. If you care about the specific matrix, side 1 is variant #12, side 2 is variant #9 of the 1976 Winchester pressing if you look this up on Discogs. Really nice copy of this fairly rare pressing.
