Description: D’ARTAGNAN BOOKS This is a first edition in good condition. It was published by Electa Editrice in 1955. This book is in Italian. This book was 'sponsored' by 'Banco Ambrosiano', and there is a card stapled to the first page from Carlo Alessandro Canesi. Canesi ran the Bank and famously employed Roberto Calvi - 'God's Banker'. I believe this book is an illustrated catalogue for the Museo Poldi Pezzoli. This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing. Condition: Book - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners, edges and covers, a spine lean, marking and discolouration to the covers, creasing to a few page corners, v.slight marking to the page edges, soft tanning to the pages and there is a 'business card' stapled to the first page. Dust Jacket - Not Present. Photos/scans are always of the actual book for sale, and more can be supplied upon request. I specialise in First Editions and in particular Signed First Editions.
