Description: STUNNING Dennis Loren Signed Pre-Press Proof of a Billie Holiday Concert Poster from 1946. The proof is numbered 1 of 50 and is in absolute MINT Condition. The portrait of Billie is just gorgeous, the colors are rich and vibrant, and the image really captures the Iconic singer's beauty and grace. This pre-press proof is special as it lists the year of the Town Hall concert as 1946. The final Jazz Age Editions Print has the concert year as 1948. Also, this Print measures 11 X 17 inches which is smaller than the commercially available poster from Jazz Age Editions which measure 17 X 24. In 2001 artist Dennis Loren was hired by Jazz Age Editions to restore a number of Jazz concert posters from the 40s. I acquired several number 1 proofs from Dennis and this is my LAST ONE. I honestly can't believe it's still available. I always thought this was the most beautiful of all the Jazz Age Editions. I have shipped the others to Japan, Australia, London, and to several collectors in the US. The print has been kept in an acid free art binder since acquired it. I will ship this print between two acid free boards. It will looks spectacular when professionally framed and matted.
