Description: This is a real nice deep green BOARDMAN squat porter or blob top soda bottle from the Civil War era of the 1860s....it just missed being pontiled...BOARDMAN boldly emb around bottle in large 1"double outlined letters.....Early smooth base with sunken bottom...applied blob top....deep green...round squat porter shape...only 6 3/8"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with only one tiny nick on base edge; some light scratches, but nothing bad. A nice clean bottle with no haze. Letters have been highlighted with white paint which could be removed if you like. I guarantee all the embossing is bold and crisp... ..
