It should work if you change the battery, but no guarantee on whether it would work or how accurate it would tick. You may feel disappointed hearing this, but most of the Bodo clocks no longer work today due to the age, unless the battery has been changed and the function is still there. I’ve had few watches in the past, and I probably saw one still ticking when I bought it few years ago which already stopped ticking today. If you want to change the battery, I highly recommend doing so at the watch store. In my area, they would charge $15. I have some watches on my listing which I changed batteries, but broke one of the crystals. The type of crystal would be very special, so the repair shop said it would cost at least $50 to replace the crystal, and not sure if they can find that size of crystal. Regardless of the function, it would be a great addition to your dollhouse and it is in good condition, but please see pictures for details. I try my best to describe the items, but I am not perfect, so please do not hesitate to ask questions if you have any.
