Description: Beautiful and unique kimono jacket made out of gorgeous silk fabrics which are not only boasting beautiful patterns and colours, but many of them have a woven pattern, which, combined with the kantha hand stitch, makes this jacket a wearable piece of art! Glorious colours blend together beautifully, they are vibrant, due to the sophisticated sheen of the fabrics, but not 'intense'. Because of the many different shades of colours, many different patterns and the nature of the fabrics, it was very difficult to take photos which would really show off the beauty of this jacket. I am sharing some of the close-ups in which I managed to capture how beautiful the fabrics are. The patchwork has been sewn by hand in kantha stitch together with the pure cotton lining and then sewn into the kimono jacket by machine. Great quality finish. The jacket is fully lined in pure cotton, and the colour of the lining very nicely compliments the colours on the outside. Two pockets. Smal (approximately 4 cm long) slits on sides). This is a very versatile jacket which can be styled with many different outfits, from casual and denim, to elegant, festival, night out or special occasion. Equally, the jacket is also versatile in the sense that it is suitable for all seasons - during the warmer months, it can be worn over a sleeveless top or a vest, for example, and during cooler times of the year, over a blouse, shirt or a jumper. It will also look nice styled with a waist tie or a belt (not included). I hope you will enjoy wearing and styling it in many different ways, and according to your own style and preferences. The softness of the jacket is also impossible to describe. There is a 'puffy' feel to it, because of the kantha stitch and the way the outer shell and the lining have been stitched together, and if feels and looks as if it is every so slightly padded, but there is no actual padding. It will be very comfortable and pleasant to wear because the fabrics are breathable. The jacket has nice weight to it and it feels 'substantial' and with a good structure, without being heavy. No two jackets in this collection are the same, each one is a complete one off.
