This is the 156th running of the race. The glass is very collectible as the Belmont Stakes race is being run in Saratoga Springs this year and next year due to renovations at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. In addition, unlike the 1 1/2 mile race in Belmont Park, this year's race will be run at a distance of 1 1/4 miles. The official glass is 5 1/4 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide at the top. This glass is brand new and never used. Small production of glasses this year with the event move to Saratoga! Shipping will be via USPS mail. Sure to be a collector's item!
