Description: For sale is a Very Good- condition hardcover copy of Captain Salt in Oz by Ruth Plumly Thompson. Illustrated in black and white by John R. Neill. Published ca. 1951 by The Reilly & Lee Co. in Chicago, IL (Bienvenue p. 118.) Front cover is shaky but binding is holding sound. Pages are unmarked, with the exception of visible mesh along length of gutters of endpapers, and small library stamp to pastedown endpapers. Boards are clean and square with the exception of minor bumping to back tail fore edge corner, minor curling to head fore edge corners, minor age-toning to spine, and minor curling to spine ends. Original dust jacket is in Good condition with moderate chipping to corners, head spine end, and head fore edge corner of front inner flap (printed price remains), and minor rubbing, creasing, and small closed tears to head and tail fore edges.
