Clock Repair Tool, Large Preacher Tool for Great Bushing Work

To all my Students and Subscribers,Wondering how to fix a Miss Drilled Large Bushing hole? Like a Clock Minute Arbor Bushing or a Great Wheel Winding Arbor Bushing. If you had used a Large Preacher Tool beforehand, you pop out the bad bushing, install a Blind Bushing (one without a pivot hole) position the Preacher and create a Divot on the Blind Bushing. Use this Divot to locate the original factory hole, drill and broach to Minute Arbor size or Winding Arbor Bushing size and your done. The Preacher is like a seat belt, it only works if you use it before the Oops happens. Nuts, Bolts and Aluminum base. You'll need to install the three bolts and tighten nuts, they cannot be shipped installed due to envelope thickness. Bolts are 1/4 28 Hex head with Safety Nut. Nuts and Bolts can be tightened with wrenches or 7/16 sockets. Today I put 6 bushings in a top plate & 5 in the back plate, put it all back together & it hasn't stopped once all day. This movement had been struggling and would stop off and on every couple hours. You might be interested in knowing that your techniques are very similar to my hand surgery practice!!! When I take a hand apart I use the same techniques and thought processes. You have to remember how it came apart in order to put it back together again...And not have any extra parts when you finish!!! I have no doubt that I will get the chimes working correctly with your help. By the way, I doubt very much that the clock repairman in Florida went through it with the precision you do.
