This piece’s base color is white with multiple colors exquisite Far East motif, scalloped edge and green trim. The production for this pattern has been discontinued. This historical Indian Tree Multi-color pattern debuted in 1802 from Coalport’s Shropshire England factory The initial pattern is a transfer only having the black lines and the color was hand painted by individuals. Other pottery companies had their own version of the popular pattern. However, Coalport is credited for the original design. Please see the pictures for a close-up of the back mark and the design details. Since, this pattern has different marks, depending when it was made, please look closely at black mark before considering.
