Description: A fine rare set of six English Regency John Rose Coalport imari dinner plates. Hybrid hard paste porcelain in the rich polychrome painted "Dragon" pattern in colored enamels with gilt accents. Decorated with a central stylized underglaze blue dragon within a border of alternating foilate panels. The plates measure app. 9.5" diameter. Plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. One plate has a old faint line across the center back as shown in last photo. Minor wear to bases. The plates are unmarked. This is a beautiful set in a very rare pattern dating to about C.1810. The stands are not included. Free Shipping
