Here is a set of factory walnut grips to fit Colt Small Frame Revolvers with short grip frame, designated D frame. That includes post 1969 Detective Special, Post War variants of the Police Positive, Agent, and Cobra. Construction is cut checkered walnut, with steel screw and escutcheon. Finish is semi gloss laquer. In addition to the crack and chip, surface wear is moderate as the photos show. We rate them Blemished, Good to Very Good, but photos ought to suffice. Someone talented with epoxy, stain, and Tru-Oil could readily convert them into a $125 set of grips. We are not thus talented, sadly. These grips came to us on a 1978 Colt Detective Special Revolver whose home domicile was Borinquen Air Station. Parent revolver and its mates are listed on another venue.
