The mic's heavy-gauge aluminum casing has good weight to it, with wire upper basket, and the center wrap-around I.D. band enhancing the "RCA 77" vibe. The aluminum support yoke with side thumbscrews adjusts the tilt angle, and has a standard 3 pin male XLR port at the bottom. This mic produces all the rich tones that you'd expect from a professional ribbon microphone.
