Described by director Walsh as "a war comedy spiced with enough tragedy to give it reality", the movie starred Flynn, Reagan and Hale as the crew of a downed British bomber who escape from their Nazi captors with Top Secret intelligence. This poster is from the original first release of the film soon after the end of the war in Europe (probably 1948). This 1st release poster features striking artwork unique to this Belgian poster. DESCRIPTION: Desperate Journey (1942) - Warner Bros., Directed by Raoul WalshCOUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 14.5" x 19.25" CONDITION: Good to Very Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Top white border is partially trimmed. Two inch irregular tear in top right corner. A few small tears and bumps in surrounding white borders. Part of a tax stamp still affixed in top white border. Slight overall yellowing to the paper. Artwork completely intact. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 25 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
