Dr. Wyche's Yellow Tomato Seeds | Heirloom Beefsteak | Organic | Wholesale Bulk

Description: (Indeterminate/75-85 Days) Dr. Wyche's Yellow tomato is a beautiful heirloom that was introduced by Dr. John Wyche, who at one time owned the Cole Brothers Circus and used the manure of the tigers and elephants to fertilize his crops. This variety produces luminous golden, slightly flattened, meaty fruit that can easily get well over 1 pound. One of the best yellow heirloom varieties with a sweet and fruity taste. Do not plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
